Everyone is invited to enjoy the weekend as many downtown businesses
will offer "Red Carpet" special sales and discounts. The Red
Carpet Runway, sponsored in part by Lincoln College, will be hosted
by reigning Miss Logan County Danielle Juilfs and Lisa, the FIX96
prize girl.
Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder and Main Street Lincoln director Bill
Hoagland will kick off the Grand March, with master of ceremonies
Steve Sauer on hand announcing for his 24th year.
Live music will be provided by Holly Payne-Moore DJ Service.
The Red Carpet Runway will begin at 4 p.m. at the north entrance
of the courthouse, on Broadway Street. The Grand March will begin at
6 p.m. at the south entrance of the courthouse, on Pulaski Street.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be at Roy S.
Anderson Gymnasium at LCHS, with the same times applicable. WLCN-FM
96.3 will keep listeners updated, beginning at 1 p.m., in the event
of a venue change.
