[May 02, 2013]  LINCOLN -- Gretchen L. Yeates, 100, of LaMoille, formerly of Lincoln, died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 12:02 a.m. at Illinois Valley Hospital.

LINCOLN-Gretchen L. Yeates, 100, of LaMoille, formerly of Lincoln, died at 12:02 a.m. May 2, 2013 at Illinois Valley Hospital.

Gretchen was born January 24, 1913 in Lincoln the daughter of George and Mabel Bowman Albright. She married Forrest Yeates October 15, 1931 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death April 9, 1983.

Gretchen is survived by three sons: David (Marge) Yeates of Greenview, IL; Richard Yeates of Springfield; Dale (Elaine) Yeates of Superior, WI; two daughters: Carol Hilscher of Lincoln ; Mary Ann Eisenhuth of LaMoille, IL; 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Director

Gretchen retired in 1977 from Lehn and Fink after working 27 years as a line worker. She is a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Services for Gretchen will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with Mark Weber officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior (1:30-2:30 p.m.) to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Lincoln Christian Church.
