            		BEASON -- Leona Marie Ketcham, 79, of 
			Beason, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at her residence. (Below is a copy of 
							the obituary from the funeral home.) ___ 
							Leona Marie Ketcham, 79, of Beason, passed away May 
							04, 2013 at her residence. 
							Visitation will be from 10AM until 11AM on Thursday, 
							May 9, 2013 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral 
							Home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be at 
							11AM on Thursday also at the funeral home with Tom 
							Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Blooming 
							Grove Cemetery, Randolph, IL. 
							Leona was born January 31, 1934 in Oakland, 
							Illinois, the daughter of James Reuben and Anna 
							(White) Hashman.She was a resident of the Illinois Soldiers' and 
							Sailors' Children's Home for 10 1/2 years. She married 
							Russell Miller in 1953. He preceded her in death.
 Russell and Leona had 4 children: Russell Miller Jr. 
							of Beason, IL., Joseph Miller of Decatur, IL., David 
							Miller of Lincoln, IL. and her daughter Wanda Miller 
							Bell preceded her in death in 1978.
 Leona married Delbert Ketcham in 1964. He preceded 
							her in death.
 Leona and Delbert had 2 children: Duane D. Ketcham 
							of Beason, IL., and Debra M. Ketcham Nelson of 
							Minneapolis, MN.

							Leona retired from the Lincoln Bottle Factory in 
							1996 after being employed there for 15 years. She 
							was also employed at Knox Greenhouse in Beason, Il. 
							for 9 years. Leona had many hobbies: gardening, 
							quilting, sewing, and rag rug weaving. 
							Leona is survived by her children as well as several 
							grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
							She was preceded in death by her parents, her 
							husbands, her daughter Wanda Miller Bell, an infant 
							granddaughter, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. 
							Memorial donations may be made to the family and 
							will be accepted at the funeral home. |
