Betty J. Lahr, 74, of Lincoln, died Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 1:45
p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

LINCOLN-Betty J. Lahr, 74, of Lincoln died at 1:45
p.m. May 4, 2013 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital, Lincoln, IL.
Betty was born May 16, 1938 in Middletown, IL the
daughter of Wayne and Juanita Hovey Munsch. She was
married to Roy Lahr and he preceded her in death May
4, 2007.

Betty is survived by one son: Mike Lahr of Mattoon;
two daughters: Cindy Paoni of Pittsfield; Susan Lahr
of Springfield; two sisters: Doris (Bob) Anderson;
Ruby (Terry) Allen, both of Lincoln; two brothers:
Clarence (Janice) Munsch of rural Beason; Harry
Munsch of Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren and
seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by her parents; one son: Douglas; Daughter: Mary;
Brothers: Bob and Edward.
Betty was a member of Southern Baptist Church; she
loved to play bingo, and crochet among other crafty
things.
Memorial services for Betty will be Friday, May 10,
2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home, Lincoln. Visitation will be one
hour prior to service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the
funeral home. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery,
Lincoln. Memorials may be given to Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital or St. Clara's Manor.
