The national average for a gallon of gasoline rose a penny on Friday, to $3.56, its highest level in a month. It's about 4 cents higher than week ago, but 18 cents lower than the same time last year. Brent crude, a benchmark for many international oil varieties, fell 56 cents to $103.91 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange in London. In other energy futures trading on Nymex: Wholesale gasoline fell 2 cents to $2.86 a gallon. Heating oil lost 3 cents to $2.91 a gallon. Natural gas fell 7 cents to $3.91 per 1,000 cubic feet.
