4 killed in blasts near Turkish-Syrian border

[May 11, 2013]  ANKARA, Turkey (AP) -- Turkey's Interior Minister Muammer Guler says at least four people were killed and 18 others were injured by explosions in a town near Turkey's border with Syria.

Guler said the cause of the explosions Saturday in Reyhanli, was under investigation. He gave no other details.

Private NTV television said there were at least four explosions. Earlier, Reyhanli's Mayor, Huseyin Sanverdi, told Haberturk television that one of explosions occurred near the municipal building, while the other was close to a post office building.

Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu said at least 15 ambulances were helping the injured.
