Norma Jean Laymon, 79, of Lincoln, died Saturday, May 18, 2013, at
10 a.m. at her home.

Lincoln- Norma Jean Laymon, 79, of Lincoln passed
away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at her
home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on
Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family
Catholic Church with Rev. Simon Taabu officiating.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:00
p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home
in Lincoln. A Rosary Service will be held at
4:45 p.m. prior to the visitation.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln.
Norma Jean Logan Laymon was born on March 21, 1934
in Lincoln the daughter Dean Thurmon and Anna Marie
Verderber Logan.
She is survived by her children: Doug (Bunny) Laymon
of Atlanta, Kay (Gary) Constant of Lake Fork. One
brother: Paul (Ruthetta) Logan of Lincoln, Twelve
grandchildren, Thirty six great grandchildren, Four
great great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews
also survive.

She was preceded in death by one son: Jerry Dean
Laymon and thirteen siblings.
Norma Jean retired from Eaton Corp.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and
Oasis Senior Citizens Center.
Memorials may be made to Holy Family Food Pantry,
Oasis Senior Citizens Center or Memorial Home Care
Hospice.
