The company opened 94 stores, closed two, and expanded or relocated 16 during the quarter. It operates more than 4,760 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Dollar Tree said it expects profit of 52 cents to 57 cents per share on revenue between $1.81 billion and $1.86 billion in the second quarter. Analysts expect 57 cents per share on revenue of $1.86 billion. The company also raised its full-year earnings forecast to a range of $2.61 to $2.77 per share. Analysts expect $2.78 per share.
