"A search is underway," said Stacie Wachtel, who chairs the tourism
bureau board. "The process has started and will continue until June
14."
The committee includes two Lincoln City Council representatives,
two Logan County Board representatives, three members of the tourism
bureau board and Wachtel.
Committee members involved in the search say they are off to a
good start. Meeting on Monday, the committee determined the wording
for advertising the position and agreed upon a search methodology
and timeline.
"We have identified the competencies and characteristics we’d
like candidates to possess," Wachtel says.
Applicants for the full-time executive director position for the

marketing; be high-energy, focused and innovative; be familiar with
budgets, grants and office administration; be willing to work some
weekends and evenings; be visionary and community-minded; possess
strong interpersonal skills in individual or group settings; and be
