Atlanta – Janet M. Allen-Gresham, 63, of Westwego, La., formerly of Atlanta , passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013, at her home.

Funeral services for Janet will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home with Mr. Maurice Stribling will officiating.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday.
Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery .

Janet Marie Allen Gresham was born on December 15, 1949 in Chicago, the daughter of George and Delores Allen Sr.

Janet is survived by her children: Delfina (Bert) Baker of Atlanta, Joseph (Amy) DeOca of Lockport, Victor (Margarita) DeOca of Spring, Tx., Christopher (Annette) DeOca of Chicago and Tricia (Mervin) Graves of Westwego, La; Grandchildren: Anthony (Ashley) Martinez, Andrew Baker, Ashley DeOca, Angelina DeOca, Nikolas DeOca, Matteo DeOca, Joey & Atalya, Marcus DeOca, Serenity DeOca, Jaiden DeOca, Vincent Graves. Great-grandchildren: Cadence Martinez, Arianna DeOca. Her siblings: Dolores Guerrero, Elizabeth Rakis, Mona (Adrian) Herrada, Sandra (Michael) Bendik, Toni Malkowski, Louise (Jim) Jackson, Robert (Rose) Allen. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Christina DeOca, two sons: Fernando DeOca, Marcus DeOca. Siblings: George Allen Jr., John Allen, Louis Allen, Deborah Mazurek
