Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Wednesday afternoon, with corn and
soybean values lower and wheat higher.
Wheat futures were supported by
technical
buying at the Board of Trade.
News that the Chinese cancelled
147,000 tonnes of old crop soybeans helped to push soybean
futures lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 1 cent lower at 6.93-7.06.
Soybean bids were at 9 to 12 cents
lower at 14.94-15.12.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 1
to 3 cents lower at 6.91-7.07.
Soybean bids were mostly steady to
5 cents lower at 15.32-15.49.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were steady
to 2 cents lower at 6.82-7.13.
Soybean bids were mostly 5 to 7
cents lower at 15.19-15.57.
Wheat bids were 3 to 8 cents
higher at 6.78-7.15.
