Participants will learn more about the types of herbs that can be
planted in their own home gardens as well as how herbs can be used
to enhance the flavor of recipes that they might make at home. A
"salad garden" and "pizza herb garden" will be planted, and pizza
will be made using herbs as several of the ingredients. Activities
will include games and puzzles about herbs, planting of herbs, and
cooking with herbs. The cost will be $25 for 4-H members, or $35
for non-4-H members from the general public.
