NOVEMBER 5

RYOBI BATTERY CHARGERS 

One World Technologies is recalling Ryobi P113 Dual Chemistry Battery Chargers sold nationwide and in Canada from September 2007 to December 2009. The chargers can malfunction, posing fire and burn hazards. 

This recall involves Ryobi model P113 dual chemistry battery chargers designed for use with both NiCd and Li-Ion portable power tool batteries. The model number and date code can be found on the data plate located on the bottom of the charger. 

Consumers should contact One World Technologies free at (800) 597-9624 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or online at www.ryobitools.com for a free replacement charger. More info at www.recalls.org

CEILING BOXES 

Cooper Crouse-Hinds is recalling Ceiling boxes  sold nationwide from December 2012 to April 2013. The ceiling box can crack causing the light fixture to fall from the ceiling, posing an impact hazard. 

This recall involves five models of Cooper Crouse-Hinds non-metallic, polycarbonate ceiling boxes with manufacturer or part numbers TP16002, TP16022, TP16023, TP16122 and TP16307. "CROUSE-HINDS" and "14.8 CU. IN" or "20.8 CU. IN." appear inside the box. The part number is on the product's packaging. 

Consumers should immediately contact Cooper Crouse-Hinds at (866) 764-5454 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or online at www.crousehinds.com to determine if their product is recalled and whether they will receive a full refund. More info at www.recalls.org.

CANDELABRA BULBS 

Infinity Green Products is recalling Candelabra LED Bulbs sold nationwide from June 2013 to October 2013. The bulbs can overheat and catch fire, posing a fire hazard. 

Recalled model numbers are UDC3CW in cool white, and UDC3WW in warm white. The bulbs do not have markings and the single package has "Lighting Facts per bulb" with data about the wattage, etc. printed on a small label at the end of box. 

Consumers should contact Infinity Green Products free at (855) 376-3260 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT Monday through Friday or online at www.infinitygreenproducts.com for instructions on how to receive a prepaid postage label to return the product and get a full refund. More info at www.recalls.org.

NOVEMBER 7

BOYS' HOODED JACKETS 

Vans is recalling Boy's Hooded Jackets with Drawstrings sold nationwide from September 2012 to September 2013. The jackets have drawstrings in the hood around the neck area that pose a strangulation hazard. 

This recall involves Vans' AV Edict hooded jackets for boys. "VansŪ" is printed on a tab above the jacket's left front pocket. An intertwined "AV" logo is embroidered in black beneath the lower right pocket and also appears on the jacket's snaps.  "VansŪ," "OFF THE WALLŪ" and an intertwined "AV" logo is sewn on a label inside neck of the jacket.  

Consumers should return the jackets to the place of purchase for a full refund or for a repair. More info at www.recalls.org.
