[November 12, 2013]  BERLIN (AP) -- An 80-year-old German woman who was part of a leftist terrorist organization has been acquitted of a role in the deadly 1975 terror attack on OPEC headquarters in Vienna but was convicted of participating in three arson attacks in the late 1970s.

The dpa news agency said Sonja Suder was sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison after her conviction Tuesday in the Frankfurt state court.

Suder was part of the radical Revolutionary Cells group that carried out two arson attacks on German companies in 1977, and a third in 1978 on the Heidelberg Castle.

Suder had fled to France in 1978 but was extradited to Germany in 2011 to face trial.
