Illinois grain prices in country elevators

[November 20, 2013]  SPRINGFIELD -- This is Tuesday's report of the grain prices and trends, prepared by the USDA and the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Tuesday afternoon.

Corn and wheat posted gains on technical trading while soybeans retreated on Monday's gains.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 6 to 12 cents higher at 3.97-4.15.

Soybean bids were 9 to 10 cents lower at 12.46-12.71.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 6 cents higher at 3.96-4.13.

Soybean bids were 10 to 11 cents lower at 12.61-12.76.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 2 to 8 cents higher at 3.84-4.15.

Soybean bids were 9 to 12 cents lower at 12.41-12.67.

Wheat bids were 17 to 26 cents higher at 6.26-6.47.
