Mike Miklusak and Adam Link also scored in
double figures for the Leathernecks (1-3), adding 13 and 12
points, respectively. Western Illinois never trailed, scoring
the game's first seven points and building a 40-22 lead at the
half.
Western Illinois shot 60.7 percent from the field and was
5-of-10 from behind the 3-point line. The Leathernecks struggled
on free throws however, making just 6 of 17.
Western Illinois dominated inside, outrebounding Eureka 39-20
and outscoring the Red Devils 42-16 in the paint.
Marious Lobdell and Seth Wickert led Eureka with 12 points
each.
