Illinois country grain prices were
moderately higher on Monday afternoon.
Strong export sales of corn acted
to support inspections of corn at 30.24 million bushels. Good
commercial buying continues to support the soybean market.
The USDA said last weeks soybean
export inspections were 66.9 million bushels.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 4 to 7 cents higher at 4.05-4.23.
Soybean bids were up 9 to 14 cents
at 12.96-13.21.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 2 to 4 cents higher at 4.06-4.20.
Soybean bids were 9 to 12 cents
higher at 13.14-13.28.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 1 to 4
cents higher at 4.05-4.32.
Soybean bids were mostly 10 to 12
cents higher at
13.11-13.38.
Wheat bids were up 4 to 8 cents
higher at 6.30-6.65.
