MOUNT PULASKI — This weekend, Mount Pulaski
celebrated 25 years of its annual Christmas on Vinegar Hill with an
outstanding turnout of shoppers throughout the town.
On the courthouse square, parking was a
premium commodity, but it seemed shoppers didn't mind parking two and
three blocks away to visit the local stores such as Salt Creek Attic
and Saddie's Secret Place. In most of the downtown businesses,
it was standing room only inside as shoppers hoped to find something
special at Botanica, the VFW sale or at the Mount Pulaski Township Historical Society.
Throughout town, area churches offered plenty
of eating opportunities.
