MIDDLETOWN — New
Holland-Middletown faculty and staff celebrated American Education Week with the
following activities:
Administration and support
staff were recognized with breakfast treats on Tuesday, and staff
members were given new 2013-2014
NH-M coffee mugs on Wednesday.
During advisory period on Thursday,
there was a door-decorating contest for junior
high students.
On
Friday morning, students arrived to find it was "raining" candy as
several faculty and staff members were atop the roof when the
students came to
school. Other teachers greeted
students at the front door with a welcome sign stating that "Education is our TOP priority."
A faculty-student dodgeball game was scheduled for later in the day, and the
staff baby
picture contest also began.
Along with American Education
Week, the students also celebrated Superintendent Todd Dugan's birthday on
the final day of American Education Week.
