            		McLEAN -- Loretta Zimmerman Ahlstrom, 83, of 
			McLean, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. at the Bloomington 
			Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Bloomington. (Below is a copy of 
							the obituary from the funeral home.) ___ 
							McLean – Loretta Zimmerman Ahlstrom, 83, of McLean, 
							passed away at the Bloomington Rehabilitation and 
							Health Care Center in Bloomington on Monday, 
							September 30, 2013. 
							Funeral Services for Mrs. Ahlstrom will be held on 
							Thursday, October 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the 
							Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta. Pastor Brian 
							Goke will officiate. 
							Visitation for Loretta will be held from 5:00 p.m. 
							until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at 
							the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta and for 
							one hour prior to the service on Thursday. 
							Burial will be in the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in 
							Wenona, Ill. 
							Loretta Mae Zimmerman was born on July 10, 1930, in 
							Washington, Ill., the daughter of Daniel and Luella 
							Schantz Zimmerman. She married Leland "Pete" 
							Ahlstrom on August 15, 1970. He preceded her in 
							death on July 14, 1997. 
							Surviving Loretta are her children: Mardell (Kevin) 
							Bottles and Howard (Alka) Ahlstrom, both of McLean; 
							grandchildren: Dustin (Barbie) Bottles and Justin 
							(fiancé Jody Alberts) Bottles; seven 
							great-grandchildren; three sisters: Kathleen (David) 
							Kaufmann of Danvers, Aldine (Lloyd) Combs of Normal, 
							Verna Ruth Zimmerman of Normal, and one brother: 
							Eldon Zimmerman of Homewood, Alabama; and several 
							nieces and nephews | 
                 
		 
							Mrs. Ahlstrom was preceded in death by her husband; 
							one brother, Marvin Zimmerman; one grandson, Michael 
							Bottles; and one great-grandson, Brayden Bottles. 
							Loretta was a member of St. John's Evangelical 
							Lutheran Church in Bloomington and the American 
							Legion Auxiliary #573 in McLean. She had worked at 
							OSF St. Joseph Hospital as an Aide. Loretta was an 
							avid bowler and reader, and loved traveling to visit 
							family and friends. 
							Loretta's family would like to thank the staff of 
							Bloomington Rehab and Health Care Center for the 
							care that their mother/sister received while a 
							resident. 
							Memorials may be made to Mt. Hope Funk's Grove Fire 
							Department, McLean; Bloomington Rehab. Activity 
							Dept. or St. John's Lutheran Church Caregivers. 
							Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley 
							Funeral Home of Atlanta. |
