Local churches to observe World Communion Sunday

This Sunday morning the First
Baptist, First Cumberland Presbyterian, First Presbyterian, First
United Methodist, St. John United Church of Christ and Open Arms
Christian Fellowship churches will observe World Communion Sunday
with a service at Ralph Gale Field.

 The event, which will begin at 11 a.m., will be conducted by pastors
or representatives of the participating churches and will include
music, prayer, words of institution and communion.
The public is invited and encouraged to join the various
congregations is this special day.
Ralph Gale Field is the softball field on Broadway Street, across
from Lincoln Junior High School.
