							Brian Liechty, 45, of Pekin passed away at 9:16 PM 
							Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Pekin Hospital. 
					
							Brian was born on January 5, 1968 in Lake County, IN 
							to Alice Liechty. He married Kristin Boyer on 
							September 22, 1998 in Lincoln, IL. 
					
							He was preceded in death by his mother and 
							stepfather, Harold Osborn.
					
							Surviving are: his wife, Kristin of Pekin; one son, 
							Kyle Liechty of Edwardsville, IL; one daughter, 
							Alexandrea "Aly" Liechty of Pekin, IL; three 
							sisters, Belinda Liechty of Lincoln, IL, Beth (Jeff) 
							Johnston of Green Valley, IL and Teresa Goodman of 
							Lincoln, IL; extended family, Herman (Marty) Wibben 
							of Emden, IL, Greg (Dawn) Wibben of Sugarland, TX, 
							Cale (Sarah) Wibben of Emden, IL, Lori (Cass) Benner 
							of New Holland, IL, John (Pam) Wibben of Tremont, IL 
							and many more Wibbens'… too numerous to mention. 
					
							Brian graduated from Hartsburg-Emden High School in 
							1987 and earned a degree from Lincoln Technical 
							Institute in Indianapolis, IN. He worked for Ford as 
							a mechanic for ten years before changing careers. He 
							currently worked for URS in Mossville as a Water 
							Treatment Specialist.
					
							Brian was a member of River Valley Sportsmen's Club 
							and Tremont Sportsmen's Club. He loved the ocean, 
							his family and his friends, movies and Ruby Red 
							Squirt. He was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals Fan!!!
					
							Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, 
							October 19, 2013 at Henderson Funeral Home & 
							Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin, IL with Rev. 
							Dan Perry officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 
							AM – 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial 
							will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery in Hartsburg, 
							IL. 
					
							In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be 
							made to a fund for his children at CEFCU.
