Bobby Joe Matson, 55, of Lincoln, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Bobby Joe Matson, 55, of Lincoln, IL., passed away
at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield on October
20, 2013.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Keys Cemetery in
rural Logan County. Holland Barry and Bennett
Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Bobby was born July 18, 1958 in Lincoln, IL., the
son of Robert "Bob" Matson and Ruth Shepherd. His
wife, Mary (Cox) preceded him in death. He was
employed by Saint-Gobain Containers in Lincoln for
more than twenty years. He enjoyed fishing and the
outdoors.
He is survived by his parents Bob and Ruth
(Shepherd) Matson of Lincoln; two daughters, Fonda
(Josh) Dalton and Alyssa (Christian) Javrin, and a
stepson, Joey Anderson all of Missouri. Five
grandchildren, special nephews Kameron and Karson
Bonaparte and Isaih Bryant, special niece Brianna Bryant all of
Lincoln, a sister Regina (Don) Bryant, and brother
Mitchell Matson of Lincoln also survive.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and
brother, Reggie Matson.
Memorials may be made to the organization of the
donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
