Ella Lee Graney, 93, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at 3:28 a.m. at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Lincoln- Ella Lee Graney, 93, passed away at 3:28
A.M. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL
on October 20, 2013.
Ella was born on April 26, 1920 in Lincoln, IL,
daughter of Theodore and Catherine Malerich
McMonagle. She married John David Graney in February
1938, he preceded her in death on April 7, 1989.

She was a member of the Lincoln Christian Church,
T.O.P.S., last surviving charter member of the
Eagle's Auxiliary, and she was a long time
participant and supporter of the Oasis Senior
Center. She also traveled extensively with friends.
Surviving Ella is one son: David Lee (Lois) Graney
of Fayetteville, AR; two grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one
sister, Julia Chandler.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday October 25, 2013
at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home with
Ron Otto officiating. Visitation will be from 4 P.M.
to 7 P.M. Thursday October 24, 2013 also at the
funeral home. Burial will be at New Union Cemetery
in Lincoln. Memorials may be made to the Oasis
Senior Center of Lincoln.
