Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Monday afternoon.
December corn futures posted its
lowest close in three years Monday.
After a week of good harvest
weather, traders were expecting good harvest progress for corn
and soybeans.
The USDA reported last week's
export inspections were 26.5 million bushels and 83.6 million
bushels of soybeans for the week.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 8 to 9 cents lower at 4.04-4.16.
Soybean bids were down 29 to 37
cents at 12.39-12.47.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 5 to 9 cents lower at 4.08-4.28.
Soybean bids were 29 to 30 cents
lower at 12.46-12.63.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 9
cents lower at 3.96-4.24.
Soybean bids were 32 to 37 cents
lower at 12.36-12.74.
Wheat bids were 10 to 11 cents
lower at 6.38-6.74.
