LINCOLN -- Andrew J. Skelton, 68, of
Lincoln, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at his home.

LINCOLN-Andrew J. Skelton, 68, of Lincoln, IL passed
away October 27, 2013 at his home.
Andrew was born on November 9, 1944 in Middletown,
IL the son of Richard and Mabel Ruth Wilson Skelton.
He married Kathy Beccue on May 31, 2003 in
Petersburg, IL and she survives in Lincoln.
Andrew is also survived by his mother and Bill;
Children: Kimberly (Carl) Taylor of Bloomington;
Kevin (companion, Donna) of Middletown; Terry
(Frankie) Skelton of Middletown; Gary (Glenda)
Skelton of Lincoln; Vicki (Dan) Bree of Lincoln;
Connie White (companion, Steve Sampson) of Lincoln;
seventeen grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren;
Step Children: Gary (Jania) Whitetree; Terry (Angie)
Whitetree, Carrie Follis (companion, Brian Huskins)
all of Lincoln; several step grandchildren; his
siblings: Dick and Deb Skelton of Lincoln; Ruth Ann
and Ernie Hoffert of Middletown; Jenny and Harold
Stout of Middletown; Jackie Poole of Mason City;
Carol Renfro of Middletown; Cheryl Himes of Mason
City; Sharon Marcum of Washington State; Deb and
Donald Frakes of Middletown; Syb and Joe Liesman of
Hartsburg; Billy Skelton of Middletown; Kelly and
Rick Hoffert of Middletown; Tim and Judy Skelton of
Mason City; and Rusty and Stacey Skelton of
Middletown. He was preceded by his father; three
sisters, two brothers and four grandchildren.

He worked as a warehouse lead man at Precision
Products, Lincoln. He was a member of the Sons of
the American Legion Post #672 and was of the Baptist
Faith. Andrew was a loving husband, father,
grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, son, and
friend. He was an avid Bears fan, Nascar fan, and
band member of Country Rhythm and Ramblin Fever. He
was an avid camper and proud owner of the "MIDNIGHT
SPECIAL" golf cart he built with his boys.
Services for Andrew will at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday,
October 30, 2013 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home, Lincoln. Burial will be in Irish
Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from
4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be
given to the Skelton family.
