"Dare to Dream: The Story of the
U.S. Women's Soccer Team," an HBO presentation chronicling the lives
of the 2004 Olympic championship team, will be shown at Lincoln
Christian University on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Dowling Auditorium at
Restoration Hall.

The film narrator, actor Liev Schreiber, says of the championship
U.S. women's team: "They found opportunities where there had been
none and created a new nation of fans." The presentation is free
and open to the public.
The film is part of the Jessie C. Eury Library's new "Global
Perspective on Women in Society" collection, made possible by a
$5,000 Illinois State Library "Back to Books" grant received earlier
this year.
Funding for the "Back to Books" grant was awarded by the U.S.
Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Secretary of
State/Illinois State Library under the provisions of the Library
Services and Technology Act.
