LINCOLN -- Ethel Nancy "Tippy" Rogers,
72, of Lincoln, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at 2:25 a.m. at her
home.

LINCOLN-Ethel Nancy "Tippy" Rogers, 72, of Lincoln
died at her home at 2:25 am September 2, 2013.
"Tippy" was born on November 30, 1940 in Lincoln the
daughter of Gilbert and Florence Dugan Shaw. She
married Gerald Max Rogers and he preceded her in
death. She then married Ray Gross and he preceded
her in death.
She is survived by one nephew: David (Sheryl) Hudson
of Lincoln; and one niece: Debbie (David) List of
Seymour, TN; granddaughters: Christy (David) Ayers;
Angie (John) Harlow of Lincoln; a daughter-in-law:
Diane Rogers of Lincoln and five great grandchildren
and one great great grandson; numerous great nieces
and great nephews. She was the last of her immediate
family. She was preceded in death by both husbands,
brothers: John and Richard; sister: Loretta Hudson
and one son: Gary Wayne Rogers.

"Tippy" was a homemaker and member of the Eagles
Lodge; loved fishing, playing lottery games and
loved the St. Louis Cardinals.
A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on
Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Open Arms
Christian Fellowship with Rev. Larry Crawford
officiating.
Services were entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
