(Copy) Illinois country grain
prices were lower on Wednesday afternoon, with soybean futures
sharply lower. Technical selling at the Board of Trade and
weaker soybeans meal values pushed soybean futures lower.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were 5 to 10 cents lower at 5.45-5.65. Soybean
bids were
steady to 17 to 34 cents lower at 14.30-14.42.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 7 to 8 cents lower at 5.50-5.84. Soybean bids were 29
to 34 cents lower at 14.74-14.97.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mixed
at 4.56-5.55. Soybean bids were 34 to 40 cents higher at
14.07-14.23. Wheat bids were 5 to 6 cents lower at
5.94-6.19.
