            		LINCOLN -- Juliett "Judy" Thompson, 
			86, died 
			Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at 12:05 p.m. at her home. (Below is a copy of 
							the obituary from the funeral home.) ___ 
							Lincoln- Juliett "Judy" Thompson, passed away at 
							12:05 P.M. on September 3, 2013 at her residence. 
							She was born on January 3, 1927 in Lawrenceville, 
							IL; daughter of Stanley and Brittie Thompson 
							Pierson. She married Herschel Thompson Sr. in 
							Lawrenceville, IL on March 10, 1941. He preceded her 
							in death Dec. 4, 2001.  
							She is survived by three sons: Jim (Barbara) 
							Thompson of Ellery, IL; S L (Jane) Thompson of 
							Lincoln; Herschel (Debbie) Thompson Jr. of 
							Springfield, IL; Two brothers: Alfard Pierson of St. 
							Louis, MO; David (Jean) Pierson of Bridgeport IL; 
							two sisters: Ethel Floy Smith of Portage, IN and 
							Geraldine York of St. Francisville, IL; seven 
							grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two step 
							great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 
							her parents, one son, one brother and one sister. | 
                    
					 
							Judy worked for 28 years at Abraham Lincoln Memorial 
							Hospital in the housekeeping and laundry 
							departments. She also worked in Environmental 
							Services at Lincoln Christian College. She was a 
							member of Lincoln Christian Church and the Christian 
							Corner Bible Class. 
							Services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday September 
							10, 2013 at Lincoln Christian Church with Ron Otto 
							officiating. Visitation will be from 3-6 P.M., three 
							hours prior to service at the church. Local 
							arrangements were entrusted to 
							Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. 
							Memorials may be made to Lincoln Christian Church or 
							Herschel and Judy Thompson Memorial Scholarship.  
							There will also be a visitation Thursday, September 
							12 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Little Prairie Christian 
							Church, Rural Albion, Edwards County, IL. Services 
							will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be Orio 
							Cemetery in Allendale, IL following the service. |
