 Monday in St. Charles, Mo., the Lynx fell to St. Charles Community
College 9-2. Scoring for the LC were Karen Quintana and Cassidy
Jennings.Wednesday at Godfrey, the Lynx fell to Lewis and Clark
9-0.
Coach Weekly commented: "We played two very tough opponents in a
row this week. We battled hard but were outmatched against the depth
of St. Charles and the skill of Lewis and Clark. It didn't help
matters that the game-time field temperature was near 100 degrees. I
am proud of the effort of the ladies so far this week, and we look
forward to it cooling down when we play ICC at home Friday."
