Richard L. "Dick" Martin, 83, of Lincoln, died Sunday, Sept. 15,
2013, at home.

Richard L. "Dick" Martin, 83, of Lincoln, passed
away September 15, 2013 at home surrounded by his
loving family.
Mr. Martin's wish was to be cremated. Memorial
services will be at a later date.
Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in
Lincoln has been entrusted with his care.
Dick was born January 7, 1930 in Lincoln, IL., the
son of Glen L. Martin and Maybelle (Rigg) Martin. He
married Mary Sue Hawes on July 30, 1954 in
Springfield, IL.
Mr. Martin proudly served his country in the United
States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from Eaton Corporation after many years
of service. He was also a self employed electrician
in the area for many years.
Surviving are: his wife Mary Sue Martin of Lincoln,
IL.; his daughter Anne Satterfield (John) of
Lincoln, IL.; his daughter Becky Whitfill (Steve) of
Oakley, IL.; his grandchildren: Aaron Whitfill,
Sarah Satterfield, and Nicholas Satterfield, great
grandson Noah Satterfield, and his sister Joyce
Moore of CA.
Dick will be remembered for his work ethic, his
honesty, his vast electrical knowledge, and his love
for his family.
Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's
Research or to Memorial Home Hospice.
