Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Thursday afternoon, with corn and wheat higher and
soybeans lower.
Export sales helped to lift wheat
values.
This morning weekly export sales
figures were higher than expected at 707,700 metric tonnes.
Also, Japan made a purchase of US
wheat overnight.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were mostly 2 to 3 cents higher at 4.34-4.65.
Soybean bids were 14 to 15 cents
lower at 13.09-13.39.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mixed at 4.41-4.59. Soybean bids were mostly 8 to 9
cents lower at 13.48-13.65.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly
1 to 6 cents lower at 4.35-4.50. Soybean bids were mostly 10 to
20 cents lower at 13.17-13.40. Wheat bids were mostly 10 to 12
cents higher at 6.04-6.36.
