FBI spokeswoman Mary Beth Romig said 15 passengers and three crew members were aboard a commuter aircraft that landed safely Tuesday morning. In a statement, American Airlines spokesman Matt Miller said the Embraer 140 departed Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport at 9:18 a.m. and landed at Monroe Regional Airport at 10:29 a.m.
Romig said no device was found aboard Flight 3648. She says agents were interviewing 15 passengers and three crew members but no suspects were immediately identified.
The airport was shut down.
The News-Star reports (http://tnsne.ws/15qbeUj) air traffic was being diverted to Jackson, Miss.
Miller said further details would come from law enforcement.
