The Latin Recording Academy announced Wednesday the nominations for the 14th version of the Latin Grammys, with an eclectic mix of new and established artists among a wide spectrum of musical genres.

Receiving three nominations were: Alborán, Bajofondo, Cepeda, Cole, Piloto, Guerra Rosa, Syntek Bori Alarcon, Antonio Baglio, Tom Coyne, Sergio George and la Mala Rodriguez.
"I loved to hear my name mentioned three times," Rosa told The Associated Press after the ceremony at the Avallon Hollywood. "Definitely, I want to win," added Rosa, who had a recent battle with cancer.
Among other artists with nominations were Miguel Bose, Daddy Yankee, Gilberto Gil, GUaco, Natalia Lafourcade, Gian Marco, Pitbull, Arturo Sandoval and Gustavo Santaolalla.
The nominations marked the return of established artists such as Beto Cuevas, nominated for best pop/rock album; Albita and Guayacán for best salsa album; and Vikki Carr, nominated for best ranchera.
"I can't stop smiling. I am very pleased that the Latin public has accepted this record," said Cole about the nomination for "Natalie Cole En Espanol."
Mexican singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas, who has won five Latin Grammys, received a best contemporary vocal pop album nomination for "Los momentos."
The awards will be handed out Nov. 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The event will be broadcast by Univision.
