SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Jerry Leigh Ruple,
63, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Lincoln, Ill., died at his home on
Sept. 18, 2013.

San Antonio, TX - Jerry Leigh Ruple, 63, of San
Antonio, Texas, formerly of Lincoln, died at his
home on September 18, 2013.
Jerry was born December 12, 1949 in Lincoln, IL the
son of Robert M. and Eleanor Auer Ruple (Lamm). He
was never married.
He is survived by his mother of Lincoln; one
brother: Elmer M. Ruple of Decatur; two sisters:
Roberta Joy Wadman of St. Augustine, FL; M. Denise
(John) Williams of Fountaintown, IN; three step
brothers: Jeff (Connie) Lamm; Marvin C. (Alisha)
Lamm; Roger (Jule) Lamm; nine nieces and nephews and
fourteen great nieces and nephews. He was preceded
in death by his father; step father; Uncle Carroll
Auer; Grandparents Leota Ruple, Elmer and Lucille
Auer.

Jerry served as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army and
was a member of Lincoln Christian Church. He was
manager of Action Pawn Shop in San Antonio, TX.
Jerry's wished were to be cremated; Services will be
at a later date with burial in Zion Cemetery,
Lincoln.
