			27, 2014]
            Spring has officially arrived on
the calendar, and ticket sales are underway for the 11th annual
Spring for Tea sponsored by the Harvest of Talents for World Hunger.
Marcia Bidwell, who is chairing the event, announced that a limited
number of tickets remain for the April 26 tea. |

            | Spring for Tea will be in the Lincoln Christian Church Fellowship
Center. Doors to the event open at 10:45 a.m. and tea will be served
at 11:30 a.m. The tea features a number of beautiful tables, each
uniquely appointed with lovely china, silver and crystal and
offering a wide variety of colorful themes and décor. Women from the
community will serve as table hostesses, both decorating the tables
and graciously serving the guests at their table. Men in black will again be on hand to greet the tea guests and
escort them to their appointed tables. Guests will be invited to
participate in a promenade of the beautifully decorated tables as
they await the serving of tea. A variety of traditional and tasty tea foods will be served,
ranging from dainty sandwiches to tea cakes, fruit and other
delicacies, accompanied by the traditional Spring for Tea blend of
			tea.
A string quartet will provide ambiance for the occasion. Throughout the serving of tea, a number of door prizes provided
by local businesses and individuals will be presented to those in
attendance. Following the serving of tea and a time of conversation, a
program will be presented. Bidwell invites women in the community to participate in this
first fundraising event of the Harvest for Talents season. "After a long and very cold winter, Spring for Tea will truly be
like a breath of fresh air, offering the colors of a bright new
season," she commented. "We hope to provide a lovely setting for our
guests to welcome the coming of spring as they share a time of
special foods and fellowship." Bidwell also expressed her appreciation to all of the local
businesses and individuals who are providing door prizes for the
			occasion.
