After handing out the Foster Grandparent recognitions, Snyder settled down to the business of reading the children a storybook.

For the esteemed mayor, it was obviously a fun event, as he read the book "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom."

Before he left the classroom, Snyder took a moment to pose for a picture with the foster grandparents to whom he had given certificates. There were several others in the program who were not able to attend on Monday. Their certificates will be send to their respective classrooms, where they will received them at a later date.
