LCU's Rondel Ramsey receives promotion

Rondel Ramsey has been promoted
to the rank of full professor of youth and family ministries in the
School of Undergraduate Studies at Lincoln Christian University,
effective June 1. He joined the LCU faculty in 2001.

Ramsey balances a full teaching load with the development of
materials for seminars, trainings and workshops on leadership, youth
ministry and parenting skills. These are produced to equip churches
and youth workers to adequately reach youth and deal with current
issues in their lives and the culture.
Ramsey's website,

Ramsey holds a bachelor's degree in preaching (1986) and a
master's in New Testament and preaching from Johnson University. He
is currently working toward completion of a Doctor in Ministry
degree at Lincoln Christian Seminary.

Faculty receiving the advanced-level rank of full professor at
LCU generally have a doctorate and 10 years of professional
experience, or a master's degree and 12 years of professional
experience. Additionally, potential candidates for full
professorship must have demonstrated continuous improvement and
significant professional achievement as an associate professor for
at least five years.
