Sara Jane Sutton, 77, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at
her home.

Sara Jane Sutton, 77, of Lincoln, passed away April
2, 2014 at her home in Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday, April 7, 2014
at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Following visitation, cremation rites will be
accorded. Burial will be at 11 AM Monday, April 14,
2014 at Zion Cemetery.
Sara was born September 21, 1936 in Lincoln, IL.,
the daughter of William Frederick "Bill" Nichols and
Dorothy Lucille (Anderson) Nichols. She married
Robert Lee. He preceded her in death October 27,
2001. She later married Robert Sutton. He preceded
her in death on February 17, 2009.

She retired from Community Action after 25 years of
service. She later worked for CILA Group Home in
Lincoln for 7 years.
Surviving are her children: Rob (Debby) Lee of
Middletown, IL., Debbie Gray of Lincoln, IL., Kathy
(Larry) Taylor of St. Mary’s GA., Rick (Lisa) Lee of
Lincoln, IL., Ronele (Lyle) Benedict of Lincoln,
IL., and Mike (Ellie) Lee of Lincoln, IL.; 14
grandchildren and many great grandchildren also
survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Robert Lee, her husband Robert Sutton, and
her sister Sandra Nichols.
Memorial donations may be made to the Autism Society
of America and will be accepted at the funeral home.
