Logan Countys chief probation officer, Kim Turner, was one of the many professionals on hand Sunday who volunteer through the Healthy Communities Partnership. Turner encouraged participants to fill out a survey on youth substance use. Numerous agencies are represented by the hundreds of HCP volunteers. On Sunday, these included the health department, mental health services, the park district, the hospital, the emergency management agency; just to name a few of the groups caring about you and our community through volunteer service.
