 The program will cover the following topics: health problems of
morbid obesity, treatment options, surgery overview and health
benefits after surgery. A patient will tell her story about how she
gained health by losing weight.
The program will feature the surgeons from the nonprofit
hospital's nationally accredited bariatric program: Dr. Max D.
Hammer, Dr. Orlando J. Icaza and Dr. Elizabeth Warner. All three are
bariatric surgeons with Springfield Clinic.
