LINCOLN —
Hope JoAnn Lercher, infant child of James Lercher and Jolie Cox,
died Friday, April 4, 2014, at 5:30 a.m. at St. John's Hospital in
Springfield.

Friday April 4, 2014 at St. John's Hospital in
Springfield.
Hope is survived by her parents, sister, Mira
Thompson, maternal grandparents, Bernard (Loretta
Ingram) Cox of Lincoln, Peggy Jo (David) Dyer of
Ripley, IL, paternal grandparents, Lisa (Harry Hopp)
Lercher of Lincoln, Randy (Jenny Boyer) Lercher of
Athens, IL, paternal great-grandparents, Lyle and
Donna Horner of Minier, IL, Charlie (Kathy) Lercher
of Lincoln and great-great grandmother JoAnn Lee of
Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her uncle Ryan
Cox, great grandfather Gene McCawley, great
grandmother Lucille Cox and great-grandmother Mary
Winner.
Graveside services will be held for Hope at 2:30
P.M. Wednesday April 9, 2014 at New Union Cemetery in
Lincoln. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M. prior to
services at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln. Memorials may be made to the Carol Jo Vecchie
Maternity Ward at St. John's Hospital.
