For Holy Week we invite all to participate in a very
special re-enactment of the Last Supper on Maundy
Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Kids are welcome to enter
in as well.
Good Friday, Friday, April 18
On Good Friday we will host a 12 hour prayer vigil
beginning at noon and continuing to midnight. Hosts
will be available throughout the day and evening.
You are welcome to come by and pray, or drop off
prayer requests and we will be sure to include then
in our petitions to God
Easter Sunday, Sunday April 20
On Easter Sunday we will hold a Sunrise Service at 7
a.m. followed by a breakfast. Sunday School will
begin at 9 a.m. with Morning worship beginning at
10.
We welcome all to our regular ministry events
including 9 a.m. Sunday school and 10 a.m. worship
services each Sunday.
We also host a good home-cooked midweek fellowship
meal on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. followed by
Bible Study at 7

IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH

The congregation of Immanuel Lutheran Church will
remember the Lord’s Last Supper with a communion
service at 7:00 P.M. on Maundy Thursday, April 17 at
7:00 P.M. All are invited to partake of
communion. At the close of the service with the
lights dimmed, members of the congregation will
strip the altar and chancel of all decorative items
in preparation for Good Friday. Worshippers are
asked to leave quietly.
Good Friday Tennebrae Services will begin at 7:00
p.m. on Friday, April 18 at Immanuel. Throughout
the service of hymns and readings, the lights will
be dimmed until the very end when for a brief period
the church will be in darkness in memory of Christ’s
death. Attendees are asked to leave the church in
silence.
At 6:30 A.M. on Easter Sunday, April 20 all are
welcome to attend the Sunrise Easter Service at
Immanuel. Communion will be a part of the
resurrection celebration. Following the service
breakfast will be served to those wishing to attend.
At 9:00 A.M. there will be another Easter
Celebration Service with communion. All are invited
to participate in these Easter events.
