McLEAN — John W. Davis, 95, of McLean,
died Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 4:08 p.m. at the Henry and
Jane Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

McLean- John W. Davis, 95, of McLean passed away on
Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 4:08 p.m. at the Henry
and Jane Vonderlieth Living Center in Mt. Pulaski.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Davis will be held on
Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the McLean
Christian Church with Mr. Tony Billingsley
officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time
of service on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in the McLean Cemetery.
John Wesley Davis was born on June 2, 1918 in
Washington County Indiana the son of Millard Wesley
and Madge Green Davis . He was united in marriage on
July 30, 1950 in Streator to Florence M. Brown. She
preceded him in death on June 17, 2006 in McLean.

Surviving Mr. Davis are his children: Sharon (Gene)
Sears, John W. "Bussy" Davis, Rick Davis, Ronald
(Becky) Davis, Diana Dupin, Brenda Shane, Millard
(Shelly) Davis, Robert Davis, Michelle and Chris
Morrow, two sisters: Dayle Davis, Ruby Butler, half
sister: Rose Sharpe, two half brothers: Bill Elliot,
Jim Elliot, twenty grandchildren, twenty-five great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter: Annie
Horath, four sisters and two brothers.
Memorials may be made to the Mt Hope / Funks Grove
Twp Fire Department or Safe Haven Hospice.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta.
