To the victor go the spoils,
and at this egg hunt, everyone was a victor. Throughout
the morning, as groups finished their dash for eggs, the parents and
kids formed little gatherings on the ground and opened the plastic
eggs. Some of the eggs held candy, of course, but others had
little pieces of paper that indicated the hunter was eligible to
collect a prize at the clubhouse.
As always, the egg hunt this
year was a partnership between the Lincoln Park District and
Symphony of Lincoln. They also received some help in stuffing
eggs from Logan-Mason Rehab and had local sponsors: the Lincoln
Kiwanis, Thorntons Oil and Lincoln Daily News.
