[April
17, 2014] The
annual Easter egg hunt at the Lincoln Park District is
approaching soon. Join the activity this Saturday, April 19,
beginning at 10 a.m. as the first round of busy egg hunters will
begin. Youth are grouped by age divisions and are started about
every 10 minutes. Children through age 8 are invited to participate.
Due to the generosity of the sponsors, this year's hunt promises to
be the biggest ever.

The park district is currently seeking to employ umpires for
boys baseball and girls softball. Applicants, male or female, should
have a thorough knowledge of the rules and should have good people
skills. Applications may be picked at the administration office
during regular business hours and returned preferably by April 25. A
meeting will be scheduled to assure that there is consistency among
the umpires. The Summer Program Guide is available at the
park district headquarters. The
program guide (PDF) can also be found online at
www.lincolnparkdistrict.com. The park district has a wonderful
offering of programs that will keep all ages active through the
summer. Participants are encouraged to register early so that
adequate plans can be made. Early registration makes it possible to
offer programs that otherwise would have not met the minimum or
maximum requirements. If you have questions, the park district is
just a phone call away at 732-8770.
