Main Street Lincoln and the city
of Lincoln will present the 25th annual Lincoln Community High
School Prom Red Carpet Runway and Royal Grand March for the LCHS
students and community. The events will be on May 3 at the Logan
County Courthouse.

Theme for this year's prom is "Hollywood," with red, black and
silver colors. The Red Carpet Runway will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the
McLean Street entrance of the courthouse. The Royal Grand March will
begin at 6 p.m. at the north entrance of the courthouse, on Broadway
Street.
The public is invited to enjoy this silver anniversary
celebration weekend, as many downtown businesses will be open and
offering "Red Carpet" special sales and discounts.
The Red Carpet Runway, sponsored in part by Lincoln College, WLCN-FM
96.3 and Mary Todd's Gold Crown Hallmark, will be hosted by FIX 96
prize girls Miss Lisa and Miss Angie. Junior princesses are Jada
Bree, Liv Sangerman and Piper Whiteman, and their junior prince
escort is Karson Komnick.

Lincoln Mayor Keith Snyder and Main Street Lincoln executive
Bill Hoagland will kick off the Royal Grand March, with master
of ceremonies Steve Sauer on hand announcing for his 25th year.
Live music will be provided by Holly Payne-Moore DJ Experience.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be at Roy S.
Anderson Gymnasium at LCHS. WLCN-FM 96.3 and
wlcnonline.com will keep
the community informed and updated, beginning at 1 p.m., in the
event of a venue change.
