Tuesday afternoon, the
Lincoln/Logan County Chamber Ambassadors welcomed Steve Harvey to
the community. Harvey is Lincoln and Logan County's newest
Country Financial representative. He moved into his new
office at 120 S. McLean on April 1. Currently, he and wife
Glenda are living in the Chatham area, but they are anticipating moving
to Logan County in the future.
Harvey is no stranger to
Country Financial. He has been with the company for more than
25 years. Before the ribbon-cut, he said that he was excited to
be in Lincoln and enjoys the fact that his office window looks out
on the Logan County Courthouse.
In addition to the regular
group, Harvey had a special guest at his ribbon-cut. The Mini
Abe is in Logan County this week. He arrived with Michael Gowin, who had spent time Tuesday taking Mini Abe to some of the
local tourist attractions. The Mini Abe is an Illinois tourism
promotion. He will be in our community all week.
