Harold E. Rayburn, 66, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 6:20 a.m. at
his home.

Emden- Harold E. Rayburn, 66, passed away at 6:20
A.M. on April 19, 2014 at his home surrounded by his
family.
Harold was born April 11, 1948 in Davenport,
Nebraska the son of Carlyle and Wilda Avers Rayburn.
He married Connie Burlingame October 26, 1979 in
Emden, IL. She survives in Emden, IL.
Harold is also survived by his children: Bruce
Rayburn of Lincoln; Sarah McCree of Emden; Carrie
(Steven) Brink of Round Rock, TX; four sisters:
Linda (Gene) Warnisher of Texas; Joyce Taylor of
Alabama; Lola (Luther) Neal of Tennessee; Blanche
Giles of Oklahoma; and nine grandchildren: Heather,
Skylar, Megan, Caleb, Payge, James, Kennedy, Avila,
and Kaylee. He was preceded in death by his parents
and one son: Brian. |
Harold had been a truck driver for Klopp Trucking;
Crete Trucking and Hunt Trucking. He also farmed in
the Beason and Emden area. He was a member of St.
Peter Lutheran Church of Emden; Sons of the American
Legion; 4-H and FFA.
Services for Harold will be Friday, April 25 at
10:00 a.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Lincoln with Rev. Roger David officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at
the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery,
rural Emden. Memorials may be given to St. Peter's
Lutheran Sunday School.
